Its only when you start something do you wonder where it leads my interest is Royal navy ship and auxiliary vessels and thats so far has lead to 24 pages of makes and models this is not a easy task and I can see why its not been done before its the variants of the same models thats become difficult to list

The well known kits aren't too much of a problem. But how far do you go with the lesser known kits? There's quite a few of those.
And are you including drawings or just kits? As per those extracts on the other post I think some history is important as it puts things in context. Some of the Fairey 31 kits for instance had a life before and after Precedent.
To get this in an A to Z format someone would have to compile all the information before it's published on the forum. Don't under-estimate the size of that task!

This has become a challenge is it possible to get this added by our web leader as a on going section as I think for all us new sailors and even the senior ones a history of our boats is of great interest to all so what I am suggesting is
