You could try 0.8mm ply in one length. This way there are no joins, then coat with 2 pack resin which will waterproof the hull.

You could try to fill holes with Resin use a tissue paper soaked in Resin and placed on inside, then fill with Resin when dry. there are other ways no dought but that that was the way that I fixed a hole in my vessel.
