G'Day everyone, I too was a member but ill health took that away from me. It is a great club with a lot of very good and very funny members, and exceptionally helpful also. I hope to get back one day. Regards, John
G'Day Andy I too have received some plans that have been folded like that, and I have laid them out on a board then place Brown paper over them and ironed them flat before I rolled them and placed them in a Roll folder from the P.O. taffy
Yes Pete D I can completely agree with you In regards to "Lyle" he has helped me many times by verbal & lending me his notes on these vessel's. He Is a gentleman that Is a fact and always willing to pass on his knowledge. Yes we have a lot of great times, also very funny times at the lake. Regards John
G'Day Frank, What scale are you using?, as I am starting a 1/24 scale of this vessel (trying too 😓 ) Can you suggest where I can find the Turrets In that scale? Thanks for your time In this matter, Regards Taffy
G'Day Tall Paul, If all else fails I use "Liquid Nails". It sticks anything to anything. I use It on all my boats In one part or another. Check out your hardware store! It Is waterproof and once stuck It stays stuck. If you happen to use a little too much It wips down with water, giving a very smooth finish. hope this Is of some use mate. Taffy
