Just a thought when I did mine I did them as removable so on the uprights I installed four small treaded rods and bolted them from the inside of the cabin came out really well was done like this so in years to come it was easier to repaint

That looks nice was going to get a smaller one but this came up on Facebook few weeks back and only cost me £110 and fuel for a 47 inch so I think I got a good buy as the kits still nearly £260

Had to be done Wez. Thunderbird 1 could have launched through that rear hatch! 😀

Here's my baby one (it's only 31") gracing the top of a unit in the lounge. It's ready for painting but got delayed whilst working on my other Faireys.

So today after sitting thinking too much about the last person who restored the huntsman I went a bit harsh on the old boat managed to prise off the old too large hatches from front and rear and thought I would try save them by just cutting down to size that’s one almost done just the rails to do and then onto the front I could just tear it all down and re do what should of been done the first time but saving the big re paint till next year
