Found my plan but it is not for your American Scout and does not give details of the rigging, sorry.
I suggest you Google "American Scout Cargo Ship" as there are several good posts and video's of the model which may help you with the finer detail you require.

I have a built copy of similar and A part complete Deans Kit for which I may have the plan. I will search my records to see what I have. Meanwhile here is a pic of the completed model.

Nice looking ship.
There is a similar American Scout for sale on EBay as we speak.
If you google the ships name then it’s comes up with masses of info including other models for ideas and some drawings.
Far too many links to post here,but certainly a lot of info.
I look forward to following progress on this one if you do a refit blog.

Nice build I built this twice in my life and my uncle once. I don’t think I have plans but I’ll look. There should be pics on line. It was made by sterling Looks like only some re rigging. Most was obvious as to how the booms were rigged. I used some stretch cord that craft store had where it allowed some flex. I think I had radio antenna wires with a hook n loop made from a pin so I could detach it fir access. Body is all balsa and I found paint peeling over time. I should have fiberglassed it then painted. It was many years back. First one I sold and second died in the LiPo fire. I think my uncle still has his.
