Thats a good tip - I need some Lexan for a Swordsman wrap-around screen, so I will look for the UV resistant quality. 👍

Lexan sheet of ebay 1.5mm thick get uv resistant i use a lot of this normal acrylic snaps or shows hairline splinters after a while where you bend it see attached pic windows on this car are lexan and there👍 at quite a bend
Template mmm ill look through the Slec instruction sheet im sure the template is in there if so ill scan it and pm you it

I always make templates in cardboard to get shapes right. I also use plastic thin sheets. Even thin brass cut with scissors. Cleverly done to simulate what I will actually use fir template.

Take a look at some PetG plastic sheet. It comes in various thicknesses, is perfectly clear and glossy and very easy to work with. (It's heat mouldable too!) Ebay has many suppliers of this stuff!

I have used it with great success on my models for vac formed windows..

Not sure yet NickD been looking at some in local B&q not cheap at£25 but bendable enough not to crack seems like same thickness the old one was as it shattered to bits taking it of so couldn’t re use it looking at metal sheet at same place to cut out template for window frame as well

Hi guys so just deciding while making the grab rails for the top of the boat how does one cut a template for the plastic screen is there one I can copy then cut out or just learn by my mistakes been trying to use a pizza tray to round off the bottom but tried it yet to get the proportions of the hull and made a quick attempt last night with an old pizza box not sure if I’m making it too big or small
