    Hi Lew.

The word Empres is Spanish, it could be a ship, Latin American (Central and South America), as well as Spanish.

This unknown (Empres) has no holes in the deck to determine where the masts are. Howver, there is are small wires (one at each location) on the deck where the mast would be, probable the centers of the masts, which would number four. The rigging is in bubble wrap and looks to be square rigged. It must be solid considering the weight. Do you want it Kevin?

German Vessel Parma if four masts. If re-rigging, definitely a blueprint for it. Seems to be a Barque for cargo. I will stop now, but I appreciate the brain exercise. A good-looking vessel and model.

    Cheers,
    Kevin

    Lew,
Is she square-rigged? Solid wood? I can check some of my old magazines tonight. May have an advert or something.

Does anyone regognize what kit this is? It is marked "Empres" (yes, one "S"). It is about 30 inches long by 4-1/2 inches beam (without bowspirit). Looks like four masts and spars in a plastic bag. No instructions. Don't know whats inside, but it is pretty heavy.

Phil, some tough decisions. Good with the bad. Last year's haul had a lot of electronics, ICs, caps, res's, diodes, I/Os, and more. Still have a lot of it.
