Vintage and classic boat weekend

HI Paul, just catching up on the website, regards your comment about with urgent funds, an old friend of mine once said to me when we were multI racing, "Model Boating is a hole on the water into which money is poured" !, never a truer word was spoken I think.
Got to have a word with my mate, you never know if we have not got anything planned we may try and get to Fleetwood ???????????

Never was a truer word spoken, and if you are into fast electric you have the added hazard of someone saying, what's that burning smell, hope it's not another speed controller you need. 😟

they sneak up on you, when you don't expect it, and drain that little cash stash the missus never knew about, paypal was designed just for modellers who get sucked into that "buy it now" vortex, you think you have got away with it, then a month later a dark shadow descends, usually when you are on hobbykings website, waving the bank statement and asking who is the pal you keep paying..... model boats are not to be trusted, don't allow them into your house, they eat your money, spare time, and you have to buy boring estate cars instead of flashy sports cars to transport satan's offspring around the country......................................................................................................................................................................... 😯

"They will be set on fire" I love a barbeque, Ill bring some sausage 😁

Ill make a decision on attending nearer the time, that's if I have the fireboat finished.
That's all I have that is vintage, apart from myself that is.

Every year any good event always falls when I have to work, so far, this is when I am off work! So all being well I would like to meet other members, I will have my Veron Huntsman 28 and two Aerokits fireboats, 3 foot and the 4 foot. if any of these boats misbehave on the day, they will be set on fire 😀
