Hi PhilH,
It may be due to what is 'Checked' in your Account under 'General Notifications.
See attached pic of my Notification settings.
To the right of this you will see 'Specific Notifications'.
This lists all the Members you are following and Blogs, Forum Threads etc.
Just check the ones you want to receive and 'Uncheck' the rest.

PhilH, yes i get everything i think. I delete same stuff as Ron just said, but other msgs i always scroll to the top & change the red dot to green so that i receive all msgs in that thread, that ongoing discussion. So...i see abt 10 to 20 msgs per day. & 95% i learn something new, worthwhile. Much better than FB. Cheers, Rod in Toronto, Canads 😊

Yes Phil I get chit chat every morning along with Wordle and Qu of Day both of which I delete as I don’t participate in them. But other items I will read if it interests me.
