My main concern is: I just don't have enough knowledge on this. So my confidence is pretty low. I also need to set radio up to run the boiler. I believe this is a cheddar engine. The person who checked this motor out for me in England is the top person on these engines and took over from the company that he worked for. We don't have too many local clubs here in oregon.

Have you tried firing it up at all? The worst things that can happen generally are running short of water, jammed safety valve or a gas explosion. I'm assuming the safety valve was checked as part of the boiler check and the fuel system (Propane/butane?) is easy enough to check ashore, so the main concern would be the water supply.
Does the boiler have an automatic feed pump? If not you need to check the water consumption and bring the boat back to the dock for a refill from time to time.
Is the boiler lagged, insulated, so that the burner doesn't ignite any fittings or melt the hull?
Personally I would give it a go and see how it works out - what are your main concerns?

Wish we had some steam power down here in Portland I have a steam powered that I built, and I scared to run it and setting all the work I put into it and it catching fire. And I not sure the steam engine is set up correctly. or how to operate it. Go figure. it' was built from scratch using a ABS hull I bought. I Had some plans i used.
Oh also built the Truck and trailer with sound system that I can drive it to the water.
