๐ White lead and glues?????? frustrated

I got mine from a HR kit for converting a Dumas PT 109 kit to a PT596 mid war. Kit. The HR company went out of business many years ago. My Dumas kit was made in 1988. So neither of 1:20 scale kits arent available anymore. So I'm fighting finding a glue that will work. That doesn't require hours of setup time. The bofur gun had 25 small parts to join together. I used CA glue to tack the parts. Then added epoxy. That didn't hold. So I used silicon glue hoping it will hold better then the different Jb weld epoxy especially. I contacted one of the epoxy company's tha swore there new rubber base glues would do the job. I used it on brass railing for one of my boats. It didn't work on my boat when transporting it to the lake. The brass railing joint broke. 3/16" Brass rod.

I trying to glue my Bofur gun pieces together for my Dumas PT 596 conversion kit 1:20 Scale. they are White Lead. I sanded them down at each joint with 180 grit, then tried CA glue and the they came apart, then tried epoxy and same thing it will not stick to the flat surfaces, what is everyone using? to join them together. So disappointing. after 3 hours of assembly time, Grrrr

I'm using 3 props and trying to figure out the correct (best) set up for them. I building a Dumas 1:20 scale Hull for the PT596. I'm told that the boat has a tendency to pull to the right on acceleration, so was thing of getting 2 counter-clockwise props on the left and center props, and a clockwise one on the right prop would this be correct?
I'm using a 3 bladed 1 7/8" props
Thank you

๐ Bending 7/32โ tubing

Brass or copper? For all my railing I use solid rods not tubing. You can anneal the tubing depending on the radius of the bend needed. Use a piece of pipe the size of the radius. Bend slowly or you will get dimples.
What size radius are you bending.
Also by a brake line tubing bender, they are cheap on amazon

My main concern is: I just don't have enough knowledge on this. So my confidence is pretty low. I also need to set radio up to run the boiler. I believe this is a cheddar engine. The person who checked this motor out for me in England is the top person on these engines and took over from the company that he worked for. We don't have too many local clubs here in oregon.

I need someone who can sit down with me, who can sit down with and go through my power plant and make sure it is set up right. I bought the steam system used and sent it to england to do a pressure test check. Up grade the boiler. I put a electronic steam regulator on to control pressure. But I don't understand everything about it. I'm a just nervous Nellie ๐ I guess. With time and money in this boat.๐ค

๐ Coast Guard 47 MLB 1:16 scale build

It is 36 1/2 inches long. The company that made it is long out of business. I got it from a friend. That was passed down to him, it is missing all plans and instructions and several parts. I'm getting photos on line, but there are at least 3 different upgrades to the boat and the kit was from the original build. So getting photos has been difficult. I was able to find the original boat plans from the Coast Guard museum in Seattle that has been a great help. Along with help from Coosbay in oregon and Ilwaco Washington. Being able to get tours of the boats and photos. So I'm building basically from scratch. Trying to stay with the original plans. Which I took to FedEx and they made the original plans to fit a 36.5 inch hull.
It has been a very interesting build so far.

Here is what I did for pad locks on my RNLB Trent 1:12 scale. I used styrene strips 3mm x 2mm cut into small pieces 3mm long. And brass rods 0.80 mm dia. And with my pin drill set I drilled the holes to fit. It was too hard to drill brass, so styrene was easier.
