One more thing Stephen. You and your Dad have helped make this a very warm and inviting space out in the ether of the internet. I’m very thankful for that.

Hi Stephen. Sorry to hear of your dads passing. Reading your post, it’s obvious you had a loving father that passed a lot of his interests down to you, and both of your lives, and all the modelers and friends whose lives he touched, were enriched.
Prayers from the middle of Texas from the Hargett family.

Sincere condolences to you, your family and his friends. At some time when you can resume your activities, you will remember things you did and realize the wealth of his legacy. It may take quite a while, but life will get better.

Very sad news Stephen.
My sincere condolences to you and family and friends of 'Mallory'.
Seems we have something in common.
We both had great Dads who built a Sea Scout.

Stephen, condolences on the loss of your father. him. You were fortunate to have a father who had a common interest which is not always the case, and I'm sure he was proud of your creation which so many people round the world have enjoyed or are still enjoying.

Dear Stephen,

Dear All,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the sad news of the passing of my dad, a beloved member of the MBW community and an integral part of the website team here.

Some of you may remember him from various model boating events, particularly during the fireboat/Aerokit fundays and clubs across the north west.

His enthusiasm for model building was profound, and while he may not have posted frequently on here, he read every discussion and cherished the connections and friendships of members.

He was immensely proud of me for creating this site and growing our community, something I will undoubtedly continue.

I also plan to continue sailing his yacht and SeaScout (complete with Popeye and Olive Oyl) whenever the weather and time permit 👍

This forum meant a great deal to him, as do all of you.

May our boats glide through the waters as gracefully as his spirit now sails through the stars ❤️

Stephen
