    Hi Frankiesays1953
Thank you for your reply, I have now been looking at the Joy Xtra in the spec for this machine it says that over 50 compatible materials. They include paper, cardstock, cutaway cards, foil poster board, iron-on, glitter iron-on, printable iron-on, Infusible Ink transfer sheets, photo paper, laser copy paper, foil paper, printable sticker paper, foil acetate, vinyl, chalkboard vinyl, holographic vinyl and more.
My main reason for getting a cutter is to make the name board for my boats, as I have trouble getting the right font in some of the off the shelf items, so it would be more vinyl that board.

That's all right, Mr Ryan. My Morse is so rusty, I could be sending him dimensions on Playmate of the Month.

What materials are you thinking of cutting? I believe the Joy only cuts paper and vinyl which is great for lettering. I think youโ€™ll need a bigger machine for cutting board though.

    Hi One & All
I am thinking of getting a Cricut Joy, the thing is I only need a cutter to cut out name board's so I feel that due to it's small size this would be the ideal one for me, has any one used one or have any comments with regards to this machine.
