I've also been to the model railway. I live in Stade, so it's only about 1.5 hours away by car. Yes, Hamburg is well worth seeing. And Dave... pictures will follow, of course.

Hi Wolle, I saw the San Diego when I vsited Hamburg some years ago. Will you be visiting the largest model railway in the world in Hamburg?

When I was there there was a great model boat display in there all working as well. The airport was unbelievable also. They have some more features now.

I was surprised how much there was to see in Hamburg, we enjoyed a trip round the harbour and well worth a long weekend there.
