My post has been deleted. It's not a problem for me if it's not wanted here. And yes, I know that I'm not on a dating site. But I want to make it clear that I was definitely not looking for a date. Hello, yes Graupner is a testament to quality. I myself built the "Tön12" from Graupner. That was about 25 years ago and I still have it and still drive it regularly. The "Glasgow" was also legendary. A few years ago I almost bought an unbuilt kit on eBay but the price shot up to incalculable levels.
Or the "Heringslogger Wotan" from "Robbe". I bought it at the flea market for 5 euros, but it was in very poor condition. Another ship waiting to be restored. These days, things like that are real treasures.

Hello, here is my sailing waters in the small river "Schwinge" in the middle of Stade, with several jetties so that it doesn't get boring. A total of 3 jetties plus a real little harbor where I could put my models in the water, but I haven't done that yet. But that's coming. Here first with my deep-sea tug "Zwarte Zee". As an additional function, I have 3 functioning fire monitors, which I operate with a pump from a car windshield washer system and which I can control separately. The front one alone and the 2 fore and starboard together. I have also installed a rotating radar.

Hello Alessandro and Lew I have been thinking for a long time about whether I should write something here. I don't want to attack anyone personally or defend anyone. I just don't like the way people treat each other here. Basically, it's like a neighborhood that you can't choose. You can get along with some people, but not with others. The most important thing is that you accept the other person's opinion, even if you don't always agree. It doesn't matter whether one or the other opinion is right. Because every individual has their own opinion and thinks it is right. Then there is the age difference with different generations. I myself am almost 60 years old and my two neighbors are just 30 years old. Sometimes I think "does that have to be, it would be better this way or he has a different opinion" then I have to back off. The funny thing is that I have another neighbor who is my age, his wife is from Poland. (That also plays a big role. You, Lew, come from America and you, Alessandro, come from Italy. They are two very different cultures). I don't get along at all with him from Germany and her from Poland. But we still accept each other and say hello, but we almost never talk. What I mean is... you don't have to like the other person or you can still get along with each other. I would never tell you, Lew and Alessandro, that what you write is nonsense. No, you certainly have a lot of experience and I use what I can use and that is all I express by liking your post or posting a reply. If I don't understand your post, I'll ask if it's interesting to me. And if I'm not interested in something, I won't like it or comment on it, because just because it's not interesting to me doesn't mean it's not interesting to others. You don't have to like each other, but you should accept each other. Because I'm sure that nobody here wants to harm anyone. And now let's carry on with model building, that's why we're all here.
