Thanks for your feedback. At the moment I can manage a bit more because I'm off sick this week. I have a stiff neck but I'll be back at work next week. It's not so easy to follow the rigging on the plan, so it takes me a while to understand it. But somehow I get the hang of it and the second rope of the Hapune is also finished. It works. 😀

Thanks for the flowers. I saw the template on YouTube and thought it should work. It's a bit fiddly to thread the steps into the rope but it works. I imagine steps made of rope would be even more complicated. I take my hat off to you.

I started with the shrouds today.
First I drew a template on strong cardboard and then tried to tie a knot to the step, but that didn't work. After a good hour and lots of cursing, I did it as it says in the description.
Poked through the rope and inserted the step, then fixed it with superglue.
The first step doesn't quite match the drawing, but the ropes are weighted down at one end with 0.5 kg weights and when they are no longer there, it looks different.
The ends of the step will of course be shortened later
