Unfortunately, I no longer have any pictures of the ships. We were only passing through Eckernförde. If we go there again on the return journey I will take more pictures.But I can't promise that. sorry.
Tomorrow we are travelling to Kappeln on the Schlei. A fjord off the Baltic Sea. There is also supposed to be a museum harbour there. I'll definitely take more pictures then.

Today we were in Wischhafen on the Elbe.
There was a harbour festival and you could see something of the "Ewer shipyard. But the shipyard has been out of business since 2015.

The picture shows the screw steamer T.S. McEwen, a tugboat built in 1925 by Bow, McLachlan & Co. Ltd. for the South African government.
The T.S. McEwen was considered the world's most powerful tugboat when it was delivered.
She was used for towing and salvage operations at sea.
A characteristic feature of these steam harbour tugs was the long aft deck, which was useful for towing operations.
The T.S. McEwen was taken out of service in 1971 and later scuttled off the coast of South Africa.

I always do the same when I sail my boats. It doesn't take long and the first kids come running. They are always allowed to take the transmitter in their hands and drive.
