IanL1, it's Rotary Centennial Pond at Spencer Smith Park, in Burlington ON CA. Just north of Lake Ontario. The pond is also used for skating in the winter.

Wish I had known of this event. I may have tried to attend as I am currently up in Pickering Ontario on business. Only about an hour and a half away.

I met the man behind the sunglasses 😎 tonight at the “Light Up the Night” on the Spencer Park pond in Burlington. Ontario 🇨🇦.
Here is Garth with his green fishing boat featured in the movie “A Perfect Storm”.
That’s Catharine and me sitting on a bench while I rigged up the LED string of lights on my Saint Pierre Dory.
It was a challenge to navigate the waters through slow moving boats, and vessels dashing around and zig-zagging between the slower vessels, plus those boats whose owners decided to go against the flow of traffic. There were a few collisions tonight but only one I witnessed who almost met the bottom. Fortunately, it was next to the deck and it was saved.
