Can any Johnny builders tell me how much lead was needed to displace enough water, mine seems to need a frightening amount ! Guidance appreciated please, I'm trying to achieve about 10mm under CWL.
    Thanks
    Paul.

    Yes Paul . . .
You are not alone, it can happen to anyone! I also burned this one on a small boat!
But as you know, you learn the most from your mistakes! Don't worry, it may hurt your wallet a little, but it's a few beers less!
    I told you, you're not alone . . .

Confession time today ......... I floated the boat today in a paddling pool, probably needs some lead it's a little high out the water. I got a bit too excited and connected the battery reverse polarity for goodness sake ! Anyway net result is ยฃ150.00 for two new esc and a distribution board !!!! There's no fool like an old fool ! Bet I don't do that again.

Thanks all, I ended up using a UK product named 'Sticks like Sh1T' which it does seem to !
Hopefully next Sunday for in the pond ! Just have to build a launch cradle and a bit of electrical work for remote switches.
    Thanks for your interest.
    Paul.

Thanks all, anything that doesn't trash my hull if it comes off is good. I had thought Evo Stik contact but it leaves a hell of a mess !

    Hi
I have fixed the rubber side fenders on my Yorkshireman with strong carpet tape, so far so good
    Fred
That's all right, Mr Ryan. My Morse is so rusty, I could be sending him dimensions on Playmate of the Month.

    Hi Paul,
A fellow club member had the same problem and mounted it with shoemaker's glue.
We call this Brigatex or, as in the picture, Miranit. He had explained that the adhesive can be easily removed by rubbing with a finger. . His statement, I won't put my hand in the fire.

You will see in the photo I haven't attached my bow rubber fender strip. I am terrified of ruining my hull so what glue would you use ? I was going to use contact adhesive but if ever it comes off it leaves a hell of a mess. Suggestions how to do it appreciated, it is 8mm thick so a heavy rubber. Thanks Paul.

As I've seen a few on here I thought I would add mine. I am grateful to Mike (Westwind) whose super result has kept me going ! I guess another couple of weeks and mine will be done. I have made lots of mistakes on the way, and concluded that brass railings are the work of the devil ! Fingers crossed she works as advertised. I have substituted the deck gear for aftermarket white metal stuff, as I'd had enough of ABS LOL ! She has interior and exterior lights and working radar. Two 720 brushed motors in Kort nozzles and bowthruster. My aircraft friends want to name her the 'Titanic' ! hope not !
    Good wishes all.
    Paul.
