Hi all,
Finally got round to finishing the above boat.
Kit bought a long time ago when a model emporium was closing down, my idea being to sell here a la frog and as such tried at various exhibitions etc, little interest as the documentation is in english!
So just before covid struck I started to build the model, and had finished the basic hull structure and the skinning of the underside.
Covid arrived and went, my club were then told to vacate the local by the powers that be at the town hall as they had a rewiring project to complete, that was 2021, the club house is still not in use, the commune have 'run out of cash'.
So for security the kit has lain untouched for some 3 years. I decided to restart earlier this year and now have a finished hull and superstructure, finished them with clear cellulose dope equivalent.
I await a brighter spell of weather promised for later in the week when hopefully a sea trial can be made to ascertain flotation line, ballasting etc after which I will wield the spray cans etc.
