This problem is unfortunately the order of the day here in Switzerland, even from sites that I have never visited I get offers for new model boats.
It's best if you click on them as spam right away, the possibility is smaller. But they keep changing their identity, which sometimes brings us to the brink of despair.
I myself open the mails on my provider site from time to time and put the crap mails in spam.
These no longer appear later in my Thunderbird mail program.
Unfortunately, the only way to prevent data theft is to use a second address for registration only.
Your sentence is ringing in my ears:
