In the Royal Navy we don’t have such a position as COB in submarines in my day it was the Coxswain !

Hi Pat,
Top one is B-Bravo, bottom one Z-Zulu.
Flown together like that they mean; Well Done.
Flown alone 'B' means 'Dangerous cargo. 'Z' means 'Require a tug'.
