Does anybody have any idea why I cannot post a .jpg? I've never had this problem before. I tried yesterday, and again today.
I just made a new post, and was able to load pictures without a problem there. I don't understand why it doesn't work here.
So far my collection resembles "The Island of Misfit Toys". I've picked up several boats that are old builds and have been neglected. I'm giving them the TLC they need, hoping to bring them back to their former glory. Once I get enough practice/ experience I intend to take on a full build.

I also had to create a new windscreen on an old Sea Queen that I bought to restore as it arrived smashed in the post.
A suitable shape was drawn onto cardboard that looked OK and then it was copied in plywood and glued into place.
A similar method was used when I make one for an old Chris Craft Corvette that I was restoring and that worked out well and looks nice too.
Cardboard templates are the answer as the idea works well and gives old cereal boxes a new lease of life 👍
Never too old to learn

I'm not sure if it helps.
But ... I have this saved picture of a Sea Queen.
I don't remember where I stole it from, but it's a nice presentation of one.

PS the picture won't load right now, I'll try again later

Hi Stephen T, if it is a Sea Queen, then the date is quite probably correct. Has it got small round portholes in the forward cabin sides, and about 48 inches in length? If so, it's a Sea Queen.
I have an Aerokits Sea Queen (project) as well (and a few other Aerokits boats(projects)🙄).
If you send me a message with your email address, I'm 99% sure that I have a PDF plan for the Sea Queen, and I'll happily send you a copy.

I have come across two of these boats one is well past it, the others whilst soaked in Ic engine fuel have managed to wash it out
Does any one have ether plans for one, I am missing out how the windscreen is done and also the prop seems to been installed very flat
Also it says in side the boat 17/6/1960 would that be right for one of these models
