The first successful steam turbine-powered ship was the Turbinia, built by Charles Parsons. It appeared at the 1897 Spithead Review where it made the Patrol boats trying to catch it look very silly.😁

1. What was the first successful steam turbine powered ship and where did it make it's debut

2. Who designed said ship and turbine

Arn't I doing well keeping away from questions about the Royal Navy lol
