Hi Pat, In UK your absolute best bet is 'Action Electronics' at 'Component Shop'. They have a good selection of engine sound as well as honkers , pingers, tooters, bells and whistles๐๐ In another category you can also find suitable RC switches. See attached links. Cheers, Doug๐ PS The jargon book never turned up๐ญ๐

Hi Good People
Not sure if I am posting this enquiry in the correct area so if not will some kind moderator please put it in the correct place. With winter coming along I am looking for projects to do to keep me occupied - so far none of my boats have any sound on them at all.
I am looking at a reasonably cheap method of putting a horn sound on my models - nothing to sophisticated just something that gives a repreated short blast - thinking of putting it on a momentary switch on the TX which will turn the unit on and off by an electric switch. Can find units that do engine sound but not anything that does a horn.
Is there anyone out there that can recommend a unit to do this please - dont want to be paying the earth as I have about 20 models I would like to do - also would prefer someone that is available in the UK as I find the chinese suppliers very unreliable and take forever to arrive.
Thanks in advance for your help
Cheers
Pat
