By a simple twist of fate (thank you Bob Dylan) "Model Boats" magazine that came in today's post has a news item about a book "County Class Cruisers" from Pen and Sword. Release date 30 June 2026
ISBN 9781036157043

Usual disclaimer, I've bought a few books from them and they've all been good.

Norm,
Two possible sources. British Cruisers, Two World Wars and After, by Norman Friedman
British Cruisers of World War Two, Alan Raven and john Roberts.
The first has a profile plan circa 1942 immediately prior to her loss and a photo, same time period, again a profile.
The second has a three photos of her in different time frames, including an aerial circa 1941.
If can can not access these, I can try to scan them and send them to you.

I am building a 1/16" to the inch scale waterline model of HMS Dorsetshire and am having problems with info abaft the third funnel to X turret. There were several ships in the same class but very different in major detail. I have been tempted to complete her as a generic heavy cruiser but would not be happy with result. I need good clear airial images taken from the quarter. Anyone any ideas? I have scoured the internet. RN Portsmouth museum has nothing, War Museum same
