zooma if I remember right it was the biggest toy shop in Exeter at the time, we went along to see Roy Rogers and came away with Jean 2, from the info that I have been given with that she was made by a company in the west country, and sold by one of the big toy shops in London.

That's all right, Mr Ryan. My Morse is so rusty, I could be sending him dimensions on Playmate of the Month.

I probably know that same model shop in Exeter Fred, although by the time I moved to Exmouth (1971) I was lucky enough to live within a few yards of Exmouth Models and tended to buy my kits and accessories from there.

New for me

Hi One & All
Back in the day when Nelson had both eyes, some time in mid 1950 my Grandfather got me a Yacht called Jean 2 from a shop in Exeter, over the years she was sailed many times until I got married, now I can not remember if I left her with my mother or it came with me and was binned when I got devoiced, move forward to 2026 and I found one on the Yorkshire Pond Yacht Company website, She now sits on my desk and has been sailed at my clubs pond.
