Nice variety of subjects, the tug got me as it reminded me of the tugs on the mersey back in the sixties/seventies.

Boats/Ships I saw on a recent Alaskan trip

I was just browsing through the pics I took on our Alaska vacation, and realized I had a variety of boat and ship pictures I had taken.
Hopefully, some will enjoy seeing them.

We spent 3 days on the Holland America Koningsdam on the Inside Passage
There were a lot of tugs hauling supply barges on the Inside Passage
Night Harbor in Juneau
Gold Dredge #8 (hey, it floats ... so technically a boat)
Discovery 3 Paddlewheel Riverboat on the Chena River
Discovery 1 the first paddlewheel passenger boat for this company
The Ferry "Bravest" that took us to a glacier on Prince William Sound
A Trawler we passed on the way to that glacier
So far my collection resembles "The Island of Misfit Toys". I've picked up several boats that are old builds and have been neglected. I'm giving them the TLC they need, hoping to bring them back to their former glory. Once I get enough practice/ experience I intend to take on a full build.
