Hey there Rockbag:
Looks a bit like a Lindell built police or lake rescue boat. However, that might be a reach on my part. I am referencing the pilot house glass as a Lindell style.
But honestly looks like an Archer Class rescue boat.
No matter what it looks like is a superior project and a great find!

The hull is not deep enough for a pilot boat. This would make a great police launch especially with flashing lights and a siren. I have a model similar to this as a police launch and always raises a smile at the pond

That's neat! And, from what I can see, it looks sound under that poor paint job.

I have zero idea what that's supposed to be, but it does remind me a little bit of RN coastal lifeboats and European rescue craft. Possibly a modern pilot boat also.

It's going to be a very nice model when you do decide what you're doing.

Hi Rockbag, that looks like a great starting point for a winter project!
I’d take a close look at the hull’s shape, especially the bow, stern, and bottom profile, as these can offer useful clues about the type of vessel it was originally meant to represent.
That might help you choose a suitable design for the conversion. Looking forward to seeing what you decide to build. Good luck with the project!

Winter Project

Hi Guys,
I recently acquired a part built hull and super structure of a wooden model. My quandary is what to develop the boat into during the winter period. Any ideas and advice. Would be very welcome.
