I've built 1/96 RC scale models of Illustrious as part of Force H, Gibraltar, 1943, and
Falklands era, plans from Imp. War museum, 'afraid long since sold off plans plus those models. Most of the WW2 era photos not close-up. good luck with your build.

I'll give them a go. in the past I have not had a lot of luck there, but Illustrious was such a famous ship they should have.

I got a lot of pictures of HMS Dido from the Imperial War Museum, London. it might be worth trying there.
