b and m have mini video cameras for 14.99 with fixings and waterproof case to 3 meters got i and it works fine

Hi Joe - I have tried a compromise on various cameras, price, size, video quality and the all important "fiddle factor" of setting up and using - you probably wont be happy until you have tried for yourself but my only comment is keep - it simple ! .
My go back camera is the Gopro 3+ with LCD and remote unit which I use with a variety of home brew fixing systems . Like me its getting old now but I can still operate it OK.
I recently upgraded to the Gopro 7 but not had chance to try it yet but sure it will be better stabilisation on choppy waters.
Just a couple of applications Joe.

I see a number of great videos taken from deck mounted cameras. Lately considering getting into this by mounting one on a tug. I have looked at a number of cameras on-line, but I remain confused.🤔🙄🤔
