Did a lot of smoothing on the epoxy coated hull. I use West Systems epoxy because it flows so well - like paint - and doesn’t stink.

- RNinMunichFleet AdmiralWell done that man 👍
Unfortunately I'm not a yacheting man so can't help you directly with the setup.
BUT HEY! There's lots of yachties on this site! I've seen many discussions, threads and blogs on various yacht setups ....
Soooo ... pull your digits out guys, give the man a break and help him out with his yacht setup.
Cheers, Doug 😎 - hammerLieutenantGo with swing arm servos for sail control, less trouble with the lines than winch. if room is a problem one can be used to control jibs & main. but separate controls are obviously best.Liked by Donnieboy and RNinMunich
Images show basic detail, 1/18 scale, with crew. Bow gunner servo is linked to rudder. Comes with Navlights, looking forward to a night sail.....some painting added to weather craft, as well as painting radar housing a lighter grey....and the canvas roof over wheel house....a little artistic licence with vessel numbers......Brown Navy did'nt always have numbered vessels....but could'nt help myself.
Bravo Zulu Chaps😉
Great starter....already looking at larger scale military kits and really impressed with Deans Marine product range, unfortunatly little options to explore in Australia....so have to order most stuff in....vids will get better with experience...stay tuned.😉
- lesliebreameChief Petty Officer 1st ClassCorrection on details of Hydro. Gordon tells me the boat is Japanese from the 1980's made by Gunze Sangyo . it has the original Mitsubishi motor and mechanical speed wiper controller [gets very hot ! ] . The hull is fine glass fibre not plastic.
Nice model lots of ballast, batteries, MARX Hectoperm motor for huge power reserve. Running on electric but Cheddar Proteus steam plant also fits in instead with ABC boiler control. plan for the future to try this never run not even on air yet!
