Actually I am on the west coast and it is much softer climate here. Our blossoms and flowers are out. Some are scratch built, some are kit built, some were bought and restored and a couple are store shelf finds. Takes about a year during my working days and about 7 months during my retirement days to build a scratch model. I just restore now, I think my scratch built days may be done.
