This is a space that my model hobby shares with real life needs. I'm building on the toolset needed for modeling, but have a long way to go. It certainly serves the purpose for now.
Chris G: Thank You.
As I said, the space is shared between my model hobby and regular house and property maintenance chores.
I do, however, like having the room to do stuff without feeling cramped.
When my wife has me in the "Dog House", I want to have a comfortable Dog House to retreat to, LOL
A lot of model makers must be green with envy, I certainly am, if I had half of that space I would be a happy bunny.
Mind you, no doubt in time you will fill it.👍
Zooma: Thank You! Yes, I am lucky to have this space. It is 15' X30'. Well lit, and "almost" finally organized. Two years ago I had an LP furnace installed so I can keep it at a comfortable temperature even on those nasty Minnesota winters.
Nerys: Thank You! Although it's not always like this, I actually strive to keep it close to this condition. There are about 3 projects currently "in process" in these pics. The red hulled (poorly built) Lindberg "Constellation" which I have taken totally apart and am rebuilding is on one bench. There is the battery charger that I dropped on the concrete floor and broke into pieces (think Humpty Dumpty) is mostly back together. And the Proboat "USCG Motor Lifeboat" which I recently saved from a trip to the dumpster is on another bench. I've replaced some damaged wood and repaired broken wiring in the USCG boat, but there's still lots more to do. In picture 5 you can see my stash of extra lumber just below the large red Cargo boat.
Oh, and the sacks of clothes for donation? ... My workshop is in a shed two miles from home. The not completed "Honey Do" stuff seldom makes it here.
Some people say I am OCD, I say I just like things put away where they belong. 😁
A tidiness that perhaps we should all attempt to achieve, but what will it be like with a couple of builds underway and a few semi builds lying around, and , if you build in wood a stack of spare timber taking up some floor space, and a couple of sacks of clothes your wife has asked you to take to the charity shop.

Nice looking workshop, you can never have too much bench surface.
Cheers,
Stephen.

Tony A......
Very impressive - it makes my shed look very small!🤣
