About this boat

I scratch built this springer tug ,I started by looking at lots of pictures, bought some plywood and drew up some plans ,I bought a brushed motor of ebay ,it is powered by a pair of sealed lead acid 6v batteries run in parallel, it's first sea trials were today and were a success, all the water stayed on the outside :-) ,I need to do some playing with balast to get her sat right in the water :-)

Chugalone _ I have used the Flysky transmitter and receivers in many model boats. The receiver is always mounted within the boat, generally with the aerial leads as high as possible within the hull or superstructure. The higher the better. In some of my models the aerial is barely above the waterline but I have had no reception problems, and the effective range has been in excess of 200 yards.
Good luck with your build 😉

    Hey guys,
    I’m about to buy this transmitter: FLYSKY FS-i6X 10CH 2.4GHz RC Transmitter Controller/W iA10B Receiver Upgrade .
    My question is:
Will this double antenna work leaving it inside the boat or do I have to find a way to have them sticking out of the wheel house or somewhere else?
