I rescue this boat from disposal. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the condition at that time, but I assume it was a "Bristol Bay".After I had spruced up the fuselage with original paint, I turned my attention to the detail and electronics.

Now I am waiting for my laser parts, which I commissioned someone to do.
I myself have been waiting for a month for the delivery of my small laser cutter.

Hi all,
On 28 April this year we have our baptisms at the club. "Aline" will be baptised on this Sunday. We are hoping for great weather. Keep your fingers crossed! Hello Herman, hello all,
Here is another detail. . . My Captain Haddock is sometimes not in a good mood. Sometimes the sliding door closes badly and he uses a good sailor's shoe to close it! Good joke for today's Friday. Good wind and always a hand's breadth of water under the keel, greetings to all from a landlubber. Michel-Cl. My goal in life: to start each day with humour without stress. But just, this is a challenge, if by chance you got up with your left leg ! 😂😂😂😂😂

Thank you for your praise! I and my wife painted them by hand for one reason: these cutters are often not perfect either, but you do need a steady hand. Today I had my first launch in the neighbour's little basin. Everything was dry and to my complete satisfaction! Cool thing, I'm really proud of my work with the help of my wife. Looks to be a typical inshore Fishing boat. I have been finishing Le Vendeen at 1:10 scale for some time and will post some pics when I have time.

Here is an interim status after the destructive engine fire, because it was the wretched speed controller that was to blame! 😡 😡 I'm slowly making progress, I'm taking time for tinkering but also for the family and my wife, who also has her wishes! 😊😊 Fingers crossed for me that everything will turn out well. Hello everyone,
Slowly I move forward, had considered the old engine ok, but this was a mistake. Engine fire Had to improvise a new motor mount, now solder the connections to the speed controller and adjust them. Oh yes, the old speed controller was also burnt. Tomorrow evening I will test everything again and if it is ok, I will continue with the other parts. It's a mess of cables at the moment, but when everything works, it looks a bit more professional! So and now good night, best regards. 😴😴😴😴 Michel-Cl.

Yes definitely an AQUACRAFT "Bristol Bay" trawler with many added details such as the anchor winch, detailed hatch behind the front cabin, & detailed door on the front hut. Mine lacks a smoke generator, is totally original. I bought it prior to 2010 so it's at least 13y.o. Came with a 27MHz radio system. RTR, just add transmitter & lighting AA cells & a NiMH 6-cell pack for propulsion. BTW the sails on the 1:1 scale model are for stability in swells, they are not for propulsion. With her lights on she looks fantastic a halfhour after sunset. The brass prop is a nice touch.

I reckon 1/20 or 25ish is a good guess👍 Trawling around I found several sites offering the Bristol Bay / Bristol Trawler. Turns out it's an Aquacraft ARTR boat, hull length 85cm. One site, see link, offers useful tip re scale (scroll to the bottom). Using that tip- Door height 3.5", man height say 6 feet = 72" Scale is 72/3.5=20.5 QED Cheers, Doug 😎 ▲

😂😂😂 I don't know the scale, I assume 1:20/25, that's why I called it "my fantasy cutter" with name „Aline“ (my granddaughters name) and thanks for the tip to a landlubber like me about the ventilation pipe in the "kitchen", more like a coffee corner . . . 🤣🤣 Thanks, Michel-Cl. ▲

Hi the 'pipe' is the chimney from the kitchen, always looks like this to give an updraft no matter which way the wind is blowing, presumably over the cooking stove.
