I rescue this boat from disposal. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the condition at that time, but I assume it was a "Bristol Bay".After I had spruced up the fuselage with original paint, I turned my attention to the detail and electronics.

Now I am waiting for my laser parts, which I commissioned someone to do.
I myself have been waiting for a month for the delivery of my small laser cutter.

Yes definitely an AQUACRAFT "Bristol Bay" trawler with many added details such as the anchor winch, detailed hatch behind the front cabin, & detailed door on the front hut. Mine lacks a smoke generator, is totally original. I bought it prior to 2010 so it's at least 13y.o. Came with a 27MHz radio system. RTR, just add transmitter & lighting AA cells & a NiMH 6-cell pack for propulsion. BTW the sails on the 1:1 scale model are for stability in swells, they are not for propulsion. With her lights on she looks fantastic a halfhour after sunset. The brass prop is a nice touch.

Hi Mike,
I reckon 1/20 or 25ish is a good guess👍 Trawling around I found several sites offering the Bristol Bay / Bristol Trawler. Turns out it's an Aquacraft ARTR boat, hull length 85cm. One site, see link, offers useful tip re scale (scroll to the bottom). Using that tip- Door height 3.5", man height say 6 feet = 72" Scale is 72/3.5=20.5 QED Cheers, Doug 😎 ▲

😂😂😂 I don't know the scale, I assume 1:20/25, that's why I called it "my fantasy cutter" with name „Aline“ (my granddaughters name) and thanks for the tip to a landlubber like me about the ventilation pipe in the "kitchen", more like a coffee corner . . . 🤣🤣 Thanks, Michel-Cl. ▲

Hi the 'pipe' is the chimney from the kitchen, always looks like this to give an updraft no matter which way the wind is blowing, presumably over the cooking stove.
