   I took Emily sailing yesterday afternoon to see if the half-spoon would make a difference to the rudder. It helped immensely!
   
   It is always amazing how just a slight breeze will move a sailboat along.

   The full sized Emma is 40” or 102cm
   
   My smaller version Emily is 27” about 70cm

   Your scaled down version responds well in a light wind. It appears that you are sailing in murky waters and rather shallow conditions.
   
   Something I like about the version is the transport is easier than the full size Emma.

   Yesterday I also finished and tested the scaled down model of Emma by Gary Webb.
   Length 58 cm, sail winch, rudder servo.
   If I had known in advance what tricks the scaled-down version offers, I would have preferred to build the large model...

   But the model sails excellently!
   I tried to take some film footage, but with the camera in one hand and the transmitter in the other, it wasn't very easy. Sorry for the quality.
