Yes, the on/off switch is mounted in the same spot where the stock switch was. The current switch is part of the new ESC setup.

Okay, sorry for the late response to some ?s. Here are some pics from the inside of the boat and the drive system. I use a Radio Master MT12 radio with a ER3C-i receiver. And a Hobbywing Quicrun 1080 G2 Brushed ESC. The battery is a 5000 mAh 3S - 11.1V 45C from BadAss Power Systems.
The boat is a Horizon Harbor which I have modified to be used with the ELRS radio. The retrieval system is working great even for the DF95 in windy conditions.

We have several of those ProBoat Horizon Harbor Tugs in our Club.
They work pretty well. One member has re-engineered and 3D printed a new attachment piece for the nose, to raise the Retrieval Arms a little higher out of the water. He has also upgraded the motor to a 775 which gave it a nice power boost. Dave B ▲

Wow, that’s even more interesting. I actually have a file dedicated just to that type of models.
Quick question: do you attach any kind of catching or retrieval gadget when recovering a disabled boat? I’m curious what solutions you use—something discreet, scale-friendly, or more of a practical setup. Thanks, and I really enjoy seeing these kinds of builds. 😎 ▲

That is a very large tug you have there. From the exterior it appears to be in good overall condition and should only require some careful restoration work. I’m very interested in seeing the internal layout, propulsion system, and electronics installation. 😎 ▲
