    Now the hull.
    The frames are just a jig and get removed. Later strategic frames/bulkheads get fitted.
    One close-up shows where the keel fixings come through carbon tubes.

    Sorry life got in the way so no update. I will try and catch up.
    This is the keel. Made a plug out of MDF rings. Spun it up with electric drill and blended its shape with a flap disc in my angle grinder.
    Made a box to cast silicon in and then with the plug removed I cast the lead.
    Keel fin is marine ply.
    Fixings into hull are 2 M6 studs and an 8mm diameter carbon rod.
    It weighs in at 8.5kg.
