   Its a great looking boat - you can be proud of her - scratch building may be hard - but its quite amazing to see something you have created come to life- that makes it worth the effort.
   
   Its also nice to have something different - was put off finishing my little Norden for years as a fellow member of the club had built one and succesfully sailed it in Korea when he was there for a year teaching them about foam plastics.........

   The Maid was my first scratch build boat and really opened my eyes to how hard it is to build a boat from plans.I like how the finished boat looks on the water with the wheels turning.The wheels are independent and will slowly turn the boat with the rudder.

   Great model of a great ship,was at a wedding on the Maid a few years ago ,she's beautiful all art deco interiors ,if you're ever at Balloch she's worth a visit .
