@DWBrinkman Some of the Classic/Vintage boats on display
So far my collection resembles "The Island of Misfit Toys". I've picked up several boats that are old builds and have been neglected. I'm giving them the TLC they need, hoping to bring them back to their former glory. Once I get enough practice/ experience I intend to take on a full build.

The Edina Model Yacht Club was again invited to participate in the Classic Boat Show at White Bear Lake.
We were given space for a 10'X20' and a 10'X10' Canopy tent.
At one point I counted 32 model boats that members brought to display.
It was a perfect day with temps in the mid 70's F, clear skies and a gentle breeze.
This venue typically is not highly conducive to running our boats in the lake, as it is a large lake and a very busy marina.
They did, however, offer to let us use the boat fueling area which is somewhat protected from wind and waves. So several members ran boats in that area throughout the day.
I will first post pics of our booth and boats. I will make a seperate post of some of the classic.vintage boats on display.

PS This is the second year in a row that we were located next to the Jonny Pops booth where they were handing out free frozen fruit treats all day. I MIGHT have had one or two ....
