My Dad built this for me in the mid 60's, the picture of it on the water was taken on Ryde Canoe Lake, thats me on the bench with Roy Downton, my Dads friend who lived on the Island and my Mum (we lived over in Portsmouth)

the boat was built many years ago by an old friend who died recently and i inherited it. I have no plansIt has the Graupner Schottel Drives which are slightly different to each other and one doesn't centre on the steering, plus it appears that it was setup for some sort of batteries other than the recommended lead acid.
The top has several groups of lights indtallrd as well as servo's to 'steer' the fire monitors all these are connected to a 'Robbe decoder 8370' which I have no idea how that works or whats needed to get it to work.
There is more to discover.............

it's got a 900Kv Overlander Thumper Outrunner running on 3s LiPo in the video but next time out I'll try a 4s - testing was curtailed by me neglecting to flush the shaft tube out and a bit of swarf getting into the top bearing 🙄.

I've got a Javelin that I was gifted just before Christmas with a Enya 41 four stroke in it, it's a lovely boat - I'm after the plan so my friend and I can build another for brushless power 👍
