Thanks for that Martin I will fix with metric studding and put a nut on underside of hull. Remove parts and spray deck first . Might go for Halfords Polar Grey as nobody has come up with any other suggestions. Alan
Hi In the process of building a modelslipway 1/16 Tamar and wanting to know what rattle can shade of grey to use on the deck. Also should l paint the deck the finish colour then glue fittings on afterwards, or glue first and spray everything in situe. My first model boat so any info would be helpful. Alan
Hi all Just got around to start building a Modelslipway 1/16 Tamar . This being my first model boat and RC I am at a loss to what motors to fit . I would prefer to install conventional brushed motors ,but the ones recommended a few years ago 600 eco are no longer available Would be grateful for any proven recommendations ,or any easy setup using brushless without cooling . Trying to keep it simple and not too expensive Thanks in advance for any comments .
Interested in a Model Slipway as they give stage by stage assembly procedures . As new to boat modelling l though l wouldn't be thrown in at the deep end . Thanks for your reply. If nothing becomes of advert , l'll place order for new kit .
Anyone have a Model Slipway Tamar kit that hasn't been started or minimal work done. Been looking for something to build and more interested in building at moment . Haven't built a boat before or any knowledge of RC . Need a new interest . Thanks Alan
