ย Hi All
ย I am about to start a Deans marine MASB 33 fast anti-submarine boat kit , 820 mm longย fiberglass hull.
will install twin 30mm propellers as that is what is recommended with kit , and run on 1 or 2 3s lipos depending on weight ,as that is what l have in another boat.
As the MASB 33 is much lighter than my previous model at 8.5kg. I'm undecidedย on the benefits of either 28mm or 35mm diameter of motor. Also should l be looking at 1100 or nearer 1500 KV brushless motors.
Any suggestion would be helpful before l take the plunge and buy.
Thanks for looking.

Hi
How far have you got into the build. I have taken quite a few photos as a built my 1/16 Tamar. None though on the window assembly, although not difficult depending on method used. Still not finished.

Hi
Want to change to brass propellers on Model Slipway 1/16 Tamar Lifeboat.
Lost one of the original plastic propeller supplied in kit , and looking at Roboesch 40mm brass as replacements . Not sure whether to go for 3 or 4 blades and type A or C Type props. Good speed from the supplied props with kit running with brushless Tornado 3536 1050kv on 3s lipo. Any recommendations of what to go for would be helpful. Thanks

Thanks for that Martin
I will fix with metric studding and put a nut on underside of hull. Remove parts and spray deck first . Might go for Halfords Polar Grey as nobody has come up with any other suggestions.

Hi
the model Slipway kit doesn't have spigots on deck fitting although l could make my own spigots. Then should l look to fix to deck before or after spraying.

Hi
In the process of building a modelslipway 1/16 Tamar and wanting to know what rattle can shade of grey to use on the deck. Also should l paint the deck the finish colour then glue fittings on afterwards, or glue first and spray everything in situe. My first model boat so any info would be helpful.

Hi all
Just got around to start building a Modelslipway 1/16 Tamar . This being my first model boat and RC I am at a loss to what motors to fit . I would prefer to install conventional brushed motors ,but the ones recommended a few years ago 600 eco are no longer available Would be grateful for any proven recommendations ,or any easy setup using brushless without cooling . Trying to keep it simple and not too expensive
Thanks in advance for any comments .
