Hi Everyone
Iβve managed to pick up an unstarted MFA Piranha kit, Iβm not sure what type of motor to use, I have a new Absima 10T Thrust B, 36,500rpm 170 watt motor, or should I go brushless? I want the boat to be nippy but not stupid!
Any help greatfully appreciated, thank you.
Happy New Year to everyone!

I have an Aerokits Fast Patrol Boat, what scale 20mm deck gun did you buy is it 1/24? Also I was thinking of powering mine with a Graupner 700BB Turbo motor and Nicad battery packs or Lipo batteries. My hull doesn't have spray rails, should I fit some?
Sorry for all the questions but I'm returning to powered model boats after a long absence! Thank you for any help received.

I have a BloodAxe which is very similar, I contacted the designer Roger Stollery at Guildford Model Boat Club, he supplied me with a sail plan, I also spoke to him on the phone, he was very helpful. Might be worth trying to contact him.

HI DaveM
Thank you for the PropShop contact and info regarding speed controllers, if you need 2 how do you control them on your transmitter? Can you pair them together?
Sorry for the questions but I want to try and get it right without too much expense.
Regards Paul

HI Dave
Thank you for your kind information.
The Veron Huntsman 42 is 42" long, I have been looking at Tornado Thumper brushless motors as they get a very good write up, probably using 2 x 14.8 lipos and one speed controller for both motors. I have a Futaba 6EX that I can use as you do!
I have used lipos before and have a charging bag and only charge them outside and always attended.
I would like the props to run counter clockwise, so I will need 'handed' props, probably from the "Prop Shop".
Any further help gratefully received, best regards Biggles

HI Robo177
I have a DragonForce, Victoria & a Fiesta yacht, they are all very good. The DragonForce is good but the rigging is fiddly, the parts are easy to upgrade. The Victoria is a lovely yacht, it sails in light winds, lots of information on the internet about tuning and upgrades. The Fiesta is a lovely yacht, it sails really well and is great fun, the kit is quite basic but great quality. All of these yachts are sailed in the area where I live!

If I ran twin brushless, one of them would need to run backwards, is this possible? I have twin prop shafts, rudders etc. I suppose I'll need 2 speed controllers.
Any one else running a twin brushless set-up?
Any help gratefully received.
Thank you All.
