HI all,
Well the k Kraft crash tender looks great and thanks for the help all. Now It's fitting the propellor shaft In and connecting to the Torpedo motor. Have a flexI coupling that fits and a brass 11" shaft and a mount to secure as It exits the hull.
That's where I am stuck, yes I know to line It up but there are nuts on the M4 shaft either end. How do I set these up ref play and what stops them moving or water coming up the shaft.
To you all a silly question but I do not want to get It wrong so near to completion.
I am completing this for my M In law as her dead husband started the project hence I am a total novice. She Is desperate to see It on the water.
Thanks In advance

HI Alan,
Thanks so much that is a great help. Time is not plentiful as my wife's mum has had a stroke and is not well so the race is on.
Have a new Futaba radio and the receiver and servo all connected and it works !
Just the power supply was a black hole as this battery is a joke !
Thanks again

HI all,
I am trying to finish a K Kraft scale 3/4 to 1'0" 46ft Vosper crash tender for my wife's dead father. We want her mum to see It running but I know very little about out boats.
I have a torpedo 850 motor and need batteries and a speed controller. My local model shop sold me a 12v battery that's a black brick and will just fit but boy It weighs a ton. Sure this can not be right.
Please can someone advise me and offer help on best battery, speed controller and rough place to put battery for balance.
To say I am out of my depth Is a understatement but have finished the boat and detailed It and boy does look great !
Many thanks
