Thanks David
Yes, the WiRC looks really cool with its own camera.
The explanation video on the Dension website is good and there is also much more explanations (with wiring diagrams) on their website and in the instruction manual.
Still even after reading all this I am not sure how to wire motor, servos and lights which all have different voltages. The configurations that are discussed by Dension are when motor and servo have the same voltages.
This problem is probably encountered in every configuration that requires moderately powerful motors, some servos and lights. Does anyone know how to wire them with a normal receiver? (I don't think that adapting the wiring to take into account the WiRC should be too difficult).
Many thanks,
David

Hello there
I have just bought a Chris Craft Constellation and looking Into modifying It for RC. The WifI controller by Dension caught my eye, but I am still not sure If It Is what I need. I have a few questions:
Has anyone tried the WiRC. Is It any good?
How should I wire them, knowing that the WiRC and the two motors operate at a higher voltage than the servo. The operating voltage for the
- WiRC Is 5.5-16V
- two motors Is 7.2-9.6V (2 x Robbe Power 600/21 Vent)
- servo Is 4.8-6V (Futaba S3014 BB Water Resistant Servo).
Ideally I would like to add a few lights to who (surprise!) also operate at a different voltage.
I have been reading on the Internet about BEC and ESC. Where shall I plug Into?
The Instructor manual for the boat says I need a speed regulator. Is that really so, If I use a WiRC?
I am really sorry to ask such basic questions. I am a complete novice!
Many thanks,
David
