@jumpugly Morning. The motors are Graupner Speed 400’s running through 3:1 gear reducers. The transmitter is a Taranis QX 7 with a Taranis receiver. Two esc’s for independent throttle control. The throttles have a mix that slows the inboard prop in turns to increase the maneuverability. Three blade props in fixed Kort nozzles with rudder.

That Bluebird is a 3D print and it weighs a ton. Wanted desperately to add a turbine, but the cost was prohibitive so I put a Traxxas Spartan prop chassis in it. It remains to be seen if I will ever get it to plane. It is my sincere desire that someone, someday, will market a built up all wood kit that an EDF can power. One can only hope.

-- I Don't build, restore, and race r/c F1 cars anymore...Tamiya parts are expensive!
-- I Build train dioramas when I can. Fascinated with Trestles.
-- I am scaling out a large scale "toy" X-wing fighter (on the bench) from Star Wars on a whim. Why? I don't know. But, using for weathering techniques I plan to use on my tug...I think.
-- The 1/10th scale Bluebird is just about done, but have run into a binding problem with the Traxxas electronics. No surprises there!

Slightly Off Topic a 'Sunday Post'
Three years ago I held an exhibition of my pinhole a primitive lens cameras collection, one of the stars of the exhibition was a very smart marine blue under water pinhole camera.
Named after Captain Nemo submarine the 'Nautilus' I made it from plumbing pipe and a few other odds 'n ends a real fun camera.
Oh not another new project !? maybe not.
