Having been to this show in the past and enjoyed everything the show had to offer I am afraid this year was not what I was expecting at all and needless to say our 2hr trip down the motorway was soon a return trip. I believe the fact that the Museum was not open due to refurbishment didn't help and maybe a postponement of the event may have been the best option! Hopefully any future shows will get back to form once the Museum has done its work.

Hi oldtimer This was my first attempt at being the organiser of the CADMA show this year and it was my intention to get as many trades stands and club stands at the show without compromising on space. It was always my intention to have as much free movement for all at the show this year. Although I did and have had some very positive feedback your comments has made it all worth while. As many will know it takes alot of work to organise such events like this on your own and with the help of members on the day and get it right. That said if I was asked to organise next years show I would be happy to eventhough I work full time. Again many thanks for your comments.
I made the trip from Doncaster as it boasted that there would be many trade stalls attending! While there was many clubs displaying some fantastic models. However I was very disapointed with the trade stands and how few there was, I had a list with me but walked away with little. Another issue was that when we went to follow the directions posted in the program we where diverted elsewere which made finding areas a little confusing and must have done the trip round quite a few time ha. Overall I had good time but didnt come away with what I wanted.
I went will high hopes of grabbing a bargain but walked away with nothing unfortunatly. I expected It to be a little larger than It was with lots on offer but In quite a small room with lots of bargain hunters I was surprised nothing was dragged of the tables as It got quite tight. Great Idea from a local point of veiw but only disapointed as I traveled quite away.
