This is a billing model and my Father was the last skipper of this vessel when the tug was working in Fowey. it is a very good copy of the original vessel and I have uploaded an original photo (Motor: Graupner) (ESC: Viking) (8/10)

Yes Richard - this is the model - discontinued some time ago and replaced with the larger scale version - The problem with the larger models and there seem to be quite a few of them is the space needed to accommodate them once built. Having already seven models of different types ranging from the St Canute to the small Waveney plus some static models they are taking over the house !!

Thanks for your good wishes - I do have one advantage in that the Trent Lifeboat at Fowey is just a couple of miles away and can be viewed at close quarters so I can take loads of photos Stuart Hunkin

Have now acquired a 1.32 bare hull of the Trent and am waiting for plans from the RNLI to have a go at the superstructure - I think it may be long term project while I sort out the other stuff waiting to be competed. Stuart Hunkin Cornwall

HI Dave - thanks for your response - I have a billings Waveney prtially built, two baby severns sold by the RNLU and these are being modified. I would like to get a Trent of similar scale prefer a ready built or part built. The larger 1.16th is a super model by slipway but I just do not have room to store it. Maximum size not more that 24 inches. Stuart Hunkin Cornwall
