HI Fireboaters,
I need a Robbe F1561 MultI Adaptor for my F-14. It Is available In Europe at several shops but they are all quoting up to 30 Euros for shipping. This Is absolutely outrageous considering It could be placed In a padded shipping envelope or small box. If anyone has a spare or can hook me up with one where the shipping Is reasonable, please let me know.
Thanks,

Thanks for the responses. I can get the electronics package out through the opening under the cabin so the deck goes on permanently. The cabin is now complete. That was a ton of work getting all the electrical done and getting the searchlight to work halfway decent. On the home stretch for this model!!!

With all of the electronics and goodies below deck on the Dusseldorf Fire boat I am considering putting In fasteners and screwing the deck down to the hull. I will be lining the edge of the deck with foam tape to help maintain a seal. I would like to hear If anyone else has done this or any opinions on mounting the main deck so It can be removed.
Thanks,

๐ Painting Deck, Dusseldorf Fireboat

Just joined group. I am working on a Dusseldorf Fire boat and have a paint question. I found two bar antI skid plate on the Plastruct website. The plate Is 1:25 scale which Is Ideal for this boat. If one looks at the pictures on the www.flb2.de website of the boat ca 1975, the 2 bar antI skid Is quite clear. I do not think It Is chrome as you would find on a truck and It Is not gray that some models show. My guess It Is some kind of galvanized coating to prevent rust and give It a non skid feel. Any other surface could be slippery when wet. If anyone has any views on this or can suggest the correct paint, please let me know.
Thanks,
