Hi guys I've decided to bite the bullet and made a start on the Slec fire rescue launch, so far so good, no major problems so far and the instructions are fairly easy to follow so at the moment I'm pretty pleased I guess the hard part is yet to come so I'll keep you informed of my p rogress...

Hi Scamp yours is bigger than mine, the boat!!! the Slec kit included a two bladed plastic propeller, would there be any advantage in replacing this with a three bladed brass one, or will it just look better when it's sitting on the stand?๐ค
Cheers fella.

Thanks for your advise Martin, as far as a build log tbh I'm not sure if I can do that I would like to post photos from time to time if that's ok? my problem is I have good days and bad day's, what would take you maybe 1 hour to complete a task would possibly take me half a day and I'm not competent enough to add any skills to anyone.as I'm sure that I will be asking many questions and advise during the build.

Hi guys I'm a newbie to the model boat building community, although I've built a few RC model aircraft I enjoy the building side of the hobby but need advice on many aspects of construction and fitting.out I'm currently attempting to build the Slec RAF rescue launch, a brief summary of my profile, I suffered a major stroke in 2020 and started to build model aircraft as part of my rehabilitation, post stroke left my with weakness down left side and blindness in my left eye as you can emagine I was an accident waiting to happen attempting to flying model aircraft, so to continue with the building of models decided to convert to the building and operating of model boats what could go wrong!!!! Do now that's all behind us this is my question the motor that I'm gonna use rotates the shaft anticlockwise, so if I was to replace the prop would I need a LH prop or a RH prop?
