Bury Marine Gala Day by slinger Chief Petty Officer   Posted: 4 years ago
Thanks to all those people who attended our open day and especially those from other clubs, It Is always nice to meet old and make new friends. Special thanks to Scale Hobbies for their attendance and support. It was a pity that weather wasn't like Saturday, but still It did not rain, which Is unusual for when we hold an event? Graham, Secretary BMMMS.

Thank you to all those who attended our event, the first time for a couple of years where we have had good weather 😎 😓 I would like especially to thank Scale Hobbies from Skelmersdale and of course to those visiting the club for the first time for their support. 1st prize for the best Tug wet to THECAPT2012 (see post above) for his scratch built, Including steam engine and boiler, MSC. Hi, the Lifeboat Enthusiats' Society sell 1/12 figures for lifeboats Including some with the old type of clothing/lifejackets. I bought some for my solent and they where ÂA£7.00 (I think) each from them at the Blackpool Show this year. Regards
