Superstructure front

The front section is built in two parts bottom built and the next level built on top then glued into position on the structure. Three pieces glued to the upper opening and the window section glued onto them.
Getting this far with the build I have found areas of the kit that in my mind need help I'm glad this not my first build.

Set up and cut the rudder tube and shaft to length and set them in place. The trial placement for the rudder servo is set need to set up linkage yet. The 8" prop tube put in place with motor and coupler in location nothing tied in yet. Cut out access in the deck for the rudder set up. cover to be built later.

Are they not in your cloud. But if you are like me my cloud is 95% full and haen't and proably will not buy extra cloud space.
And my back up, piggy back hard drive has died so lost thousands of pictures and files. I kew I should have had a second drive to put copies on. My son said " I told you so"

kitchen

First time building an interior for a boat I'm working on. Used all reclaimed wood from the build and modified the dimensions a bit to fit. The plan does not go into detail on how to go about putting the interior in place . It seems to work where it sits in the boat.

Wood

Found a piece of panel basswood that I've used to do the pilot house and flat basswood to do the lounge Built a couch for the lounge. Painted the tray floor leaving the brush strokes too look like wood.

Ladder

Made the ladder as per the drawing instead of styrene used wood stripe turned out well. The stack(1"x1.25"balsa) was rough formed need to fine tune. Found wood to make the doors glued the stripes together and sanded out the shape.

Doors

Added the raised areas to the doors and cut out the portal light. When looking thought the parts boxes found some small single stanchions drilled the door and glued them into the edge of the door. Had brass rod that fit the stanchion hole. Also have a brass tube the rod will fit into.

Rick, that's a nice spacious layout so far.
What's the reduction on your motor gearbox combo.
Loving this build, can't wait for the next installment.
    Cheers Colin.
